Frank Ernest Corzine, 59, of Winston, died Feb. 1, 2008, in Roseburg of a heart attack.
He was born June 14, 1948, in North Bend, Ore., to Frank Albert and Verena Cornwall Corzine. The family moved to Brookings in 1961. He and his brother worked on his father's commercial fishing boat from a very young age. He went to school in Brookings.
He married Julie Corrigan Feb. 7, 1969, in Crescent City. Mr. Corzine was employed by Brookings Plywood and South Coast Lumber for 33 years. The couple moved to Roseburg in 2004. Mr. Corzine loved old cars. He enjoyed going to car shows or any other car function.
Survivors include his wife Julie; son Frank; grandsons Coleman and River; sister Bonnie Heingartner and her husband Walter and their children Shannon, Charlolethe and Danny; mother-in-law Donna Corrigan; sister-in-law Sara Corzine and her daughter Alicia Hollis; brothers-in-law Rusty Slayton and his sons Jeff and Mark Slayton and their families, Mike Corrigan and his wife Nancy and their daughter Shyla Strain, Terry Corrigan and his wife Cheryl and their children, April Ireland and Rick Corrigan and their families. Also surviving are great nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at the Masonic Lodge, 416 Azalea Park Road in Brookings. A potluck luncheon will follow.
