Obituaries: Gina Marie Russell (Aug. 12, 1960 – March 24, 2011)

 Gina Marie Russell, 50, born Aug. 12, 1960, in Hibbing, Minn., passed peacefully on Thursday, March 24, at the California Pacific Medical Center in San Francisco. She was preceded in death by her brother, Charles (Chuck) Saccoman of Hibbing, Minn.

She graduated from Hibbing High School in 1979. She was a fisherwoman in Alaska, Coos Bay, Ore., and in Crescent City. She resided in Crescent City and loved the fishing life as well as being in the gorgeous redwood country and clean, clear waters.

     She is survived by her beloved parents, Errol and Janis Hietala, brother Mark Saccoman, all of Hibbing, Minn; sister Joleen (Wade) Dudley of Georgia. Nephews Sam Saccoman, Jake, Caden, and Nicholas Dudley. Nieces Terra Eichorn and Natasha Saccoman, and many friends. Gina’s memorial service will take place later this spring in Hibbing, Minn.
