Jeanine (Williams) Pritchett, died Feb. 24, 2011, at Sutter Coast Hospital after a short illness. Born in McGee, Arkansas on Jan. 4, 1942 , the Williams family moved to Del Norte County in 1956. She is best remembered as owner of the Dock Cafe before becoming head cook at the county jail. She was employed there until her retirement.
Jeanine is survived by her husband Clifford Pritchett, sisters Pamp Fincher of White City, Ore., Dorthy Garner of Cave Junction, Ore., Vickie McClure of Klamath Falls, Ore., brothers Sam Williams of Brookings, Ore., Raymond Williams of Lebam, Wash., Gilbert Williams of White City, Ore., and Nick Williams of Crescent City.
Jeanine is also survived by her son Keith Ray Stout and granddaughter
Janna Stout.
She was preceded in death by her parents Sam and Dorris Williams,
brother James Ronnie Williams and sister Larkie (Martino) Friend.
At her request, no services will be held. Arrangement are under the
direction of Wier’s Mortuary Chapel of Crescent City.
