Obituaries: Martha Jane Marsden (Oct. 3, 1936 – May 26, 2011)

After fighting a long and courageous battle with cancer, on May 26, 2011 in Medford, Ore., Martha Jane Marsden passed away. She was born on October 3, 1936, in Klamath, Calif. She grew up in Crescent City and returned in 1994. The last several years she lived on Lake Earl Drive were some of the happiest years of her life. This is no small part due to the love and friendship she found in this community. Thank you for that.

She loved all living things, perhaps animals more than people. Martha shared that generous love with her extended family comprised of all the people whose dogs she groomed.

A Celebration of Life honoring Martha will be held on July 2, 2011, at 12:30 p.m. at 6800 Lake Earl Drive in Fort Dick. Please join us, bring your favorite dish and some stories to share.
