Obituaries: Mildred Anne Campbell (May 26, 1936 – Feb. 25, 2011)

Mildred Anne Campbell (nee Thompson) died peacefully on February 25, 2011, in Crescent City. She was 74. She was born on May 26, 1936, in San Diego.

Mildred is survived by many, including her brother Kennie (Tommy) Thompson from Sangerville, Maine, sisters Louise Gomez and Paula Flores both of Hermet, Calif., and sister Dorothy (Dottie) Thompson of Ore.

Her children Yvonne Campbell and David Campbell, and Violet Howser, all of Crescent City, Connie Blodgett of Spring Valley, Calif., Kennie Campbell of Vancouver, Wash., and Yvette Caron of Sparks, Nev.

Grandchildren Jason Campbell of Snohomish, Wash., Christopher Campbell of La Quinta, Calif., Steven Campbell of Crescent City, Jeffrey Campbell of Sequim, Wash., Tom Howser of Crescent City, Heidi Howser of Gold Beach, Ore., Misty Klukas of Spring Valley, Calif., Joann Green of Sparks, Nev., and 16 great-grandchildren.

No funeral services will be held as per her request. In lieu of flowers, we ask that you just send a balloon and a prayer into the heavens for her. Thank you.
