Obituaries: Stacy Lee Knapp ( April 24, 1967 – April 16, 2011)

Stacy Lee Knapp was born April 24, 1967, in Red Bluff, Calif., to Bonnie and Victor Edward Knapp. Stacy passed away April 16, 2011, in Eureka, of brain surgery complications. He joins his dad in heaven, who recently passed away as well.

 Stacy was loved by everyone and enjoyed being with family. He was a loving son, brother, uncle, nephew and friend. Stacy always liked to joke and make people laugh. His joys in life until he became ill in 1991, were fishing, hunting, woodworking, driving his 4x4, and he always enjoyed a lucky trip to the casino.

  He will be missed by his family Bonnie Knapp (mother) of Crescent City, and his five siblings, Barbara Armstrong (Jerry), of Paynes Creek, Roy Knapp (Elane) of St. Louis, Clinton Knapp of Crescent City, Joyce Ruvalcaba (Mario) of Crescent City and Vickie Knapp (Brandon) of Crescent City. Also his many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and friends. Stacy will be missed, loved and in our hearts always.

 The family will be holding a celebration of life on his birthday Sunday, April 24.  All who would like to join are welcomed all day at 3535 Movie Lane.
