Angela “Angie” Lin Fowler, 43, went with the Lord on the morning of December 2, 2011, peacefully in her sleep.
She was born on March 8, 1968, in Crescent City, to her parents, Edward and Peggy Underhill. She moved to the Rogue Valley in 1989 and married her husband Michael R. Fowler of Talent, Ore.
Angie was very close with God and treated all of his children as her own. She was thought of as a mother to many of her children’s friends. Her lord and savior, Jesus Christ, blessed her with the greatest spiritual gift that she shined so bright with hospitality. She was always there for anyone at any time and was always ready to lend a helping hand. She had a career as an insurance agent for the past 15 years and loved her work and clients. She also participated in her husband’s business in realty property services.
Angie had a great passion for music. She anticipated going to the Oregon Jamboree each year with family and camping there, as well as many Britt Festival Concerts. She loved to take her family on vacation as often as possible, making many memories along the way.
Angie was preceded in death by her father Edward T. Underhill.
Angie is survived by her husband, Michael R. Fowler, and their daughters, Kaylin J. Fowler and her fiancé Andre M. Geadington, McKayla F. Fowler, Baylee A. Fowler, and a step-daughter, Tawnee Boudreaux (Tom). She had two granddaughters, Jade and Ivory Bourdreaux. Also, the son she never had, Ricky Shaw. She is survived by her mother, Peggy Underhill, her sister, Andrea Underhill Wadsworth (Tom), her brother, Denton Underhill (Tatum), and her foster sister, Fawn Zumwalt (Ray). She is survived by many aunts, uncles, one niece, nephews, cousins and many, many friends. She was loved by all.
A graveside service will be held in Crescent City on Friday, December 9, 2011, at 11 a.m. at the IOOF Cemetery. Friends and family are invited for fellowship in the Arts and Crafts Building at the fairgrounds, following services. A memorial service will be held in Angie’s memory on Monday, December 12, 2011, at 1 p.m. at the Assembly of God Church in Central Point, Ore. (310 N 10th St, Central Point, Ore.).
Arrangements are under the direction of Wier’s Mortuary Chapel of Crescent City.
