Ayla grew up laughing, dancing, camping and hiking with her family. Ayla loved the outdoors and, above all, her children. Although Ayla had her struggles in life, she always pressed on. On the day of her passing she had found hope again and was coming home. While the circumstances of her death are tragic, we find comfort in knowing she is at peace and made it home after all.
Ayla is survived by her parents, Mike Anderson and Deborah Starr; her beloved brother, Caleb Starr; her children, Skye Stenhouse and Savannahbelle Starr; great-grandmother Irene Coleman; aunts, Elizabeth Cordero and Rebekah Starr, Karlene, Jennifer and Christine; uncles, David and Kenny; cousins, Justin, Jake and Jessica Modrell, Kathleen Donaldson, Waylon and Jonah Pattison, Jessica, Geoffrey, Devon, Kylie, Trent, Gabriella, Alexandria, Bailey and Sophia.
Services will be held on Saturday, April 6, 2013, at 11 a.m. at the Foursquare Church, officiated by Pastor (Papa) John Quill.
The family has set up a memorial fund for Ayla’s children at US Bank.
