Barbara Ellen Little Johnson
Barbara Ellen Little Johnson, age 72, died Aug. 4, 2014, in Fresno. Barbara was born Jan. 20, 1942, in Lindsay, to Raymond and Gineth Little. Barbara lived most of her life in the Central Valley, graduating from Hughson High School in 1960. After high school, Barbara married and settled down in Fresno, where she raised two daughters, Monica Lynn James and Suzan Ellen Sanders. Barbara remarried in 1984 and spent the last 25 years in Gasquet with her husband Steven K. Johnson.

Barbara was a “go-getter” who succeeded at everything she set her mind to. Working in the restaurant industry for more than 20 years, as well as successfully reaching Presidential Status as an Avon representative, her outgoing, positive, upbeat attitude served her well. Barbara never knew a stranger and many times took the less-than-fortunate under her wing. Her kind, giving nature will be greatly missed.

Barbara is survived by her loving husband, Steven Karl Johnson; sister Derinda Little Morris; daughter Suzan Ellen Sanders; grandchildren Nicholas Grant and Erin Kathleen Sanders, Kyle William and Katie Marie Nelson; and great-granddaughter Paige Brooklyn Nelson.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Raymond and Gineth Little, daughter Monica Lynn James and son Richard Alvah James.
