Obituary: Betty Jean Eagles (Feb. 17, 1923-Jan. 4, 2010)

Betty Jean Eagles, 86 years old, passed away January 4, 2010, at Providence Hospital, in Medford. She was preceded in death by her husband of 62 years, Edwin Eagles, and two sons, Michael and James.

She is survived by her daughter, Johna Cholwell of Fort Dick and her son, Edwin Jr. of Medford.

Betty was blessed with eight grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. She worked in Del Norte County for 24 years as a rehabilitation counselor for the state of California. She will be missed by all who knew her.

No service is planned. Arrangements are being made by Abbey Funeral, (541) 773-7111.
