Obituary: Cynthia “Cindy” Dawn Bigham (Aug. 23, 1953 – Oct. 5, 2011)

Cynthia “Cindy” Dawn Bigham, 58, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on October 5, 2011, surrounded by her loving family.

She was born August 23, 1953, in Pasco, Wash., and was a 55-year resident of Del Norte County.

Before she retired she worked as a caregiver.

She loved spending time with her children and grandchildren. Cindy will be remembered by her many friends and family as a loving and generous person with a big heart.

She was married for 31 years to Gordon Bigham.

She is survived by her children, Ryan Bigham, Crescent City, Derek Bigham, Crescent City and Brent Bigham, Crescent City, daughters-in-law Jessica and Mindy. She is also survived by her sisters, Debbie Blair, Crescent City, Linda Berg­mann, Santa Rosa, Calif., and Sonja Radcliffe, Crescent City. In addition, five grandchildren, Morgan Bigham, Cadence Bigham, Connor Bigham, Crystal Bigham and Lily Bigham survive her. Her father and mother-in-law, Jesse and Chris Blair and Dave Bergmann, along with numerous nieces and nephews including Robert Blair, Bradford Blair, Jess Bigham, Leon Bigham and Natasha Jackson of Crescent City.

She was preceded in death by her father James Hembree, a Crescent City Postmaster, and her mother Faye Hembree.
