Obituary: Elizabeth Ann Clark (Mar. 3, 1949 - Apr. 29, 2009) |
Elizabeth Ann Clark passed away April 29, 2009, after a short bout with cancer. Born March 3, 1949, in San Francisco, Calif., she was raised and worked in the Bay area until September 1982. In September 1982, Liz, her husband Roy, and their two children Brandon and Melissa, moved to beautiful Crescent City. Liz has worked at several jobs with Snoozie Shavings and then Pelican Bay State Prison. She worked at each location over 10 years. Liz has a BA in accounting and has received numerous awards for her performance at Pelican Bay State Prison. Liz was a charter member of the Northern Knights Car Club. She held the office of Secretary/Treasurer.
Surviving are her mother, Barbara McDonald; husband, Roy Clark; sister, Crystal McDonald; son, Brandon Clark; daughter, Melissa Vasquez; nine grandchildren, Aileen Gensaw; Serena Sisson; Isaac Clark; Eugeen Clark; Jentry Cox; Brandon’s Clark’s children, Kelli Vasquez; Monica Vasquez; Michael Melvin; A.J. Vasquez; Melissa Clark’s children, two great grandchildren, Baron Clark (Issac Clark’s son); and Jaydan Licon (Kelli Vasquez’s son). Memorial services will be held at noon, Saturday, May 9th at Wier’s Mortuary Chapel, 408 G Street, Crescent City. In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting all contributions be made to the Northern Knights, Liz Clark Memorial Scholarship Fund.
