She made everyone’s life better. She was involved, always contributing to feeding, loving and caring wherever it was needed. Her gratification was in giving. Her family, friends, dogs, cats and roses benefited as well.
She is already deeply missed through the remembrances of Christmases, Easters, birthdays, her grandsons’ football, basketball, wrestling, swimming, piano and violin home concerts and breakfasts at Patrick Creek.
Eve had many close friends who participated for decades in sharing each other’s families, pies, muffins, cooking and church. Her home was always open, her table always set with food and drink, and filled with conversation. She made our lives happy.
Her sons are Russ Young and Jerry Young, who have experienced this wonderful mother who did all within her power to love and ground them for their own journeys. Maggie, who is married to Jerry, has enjoyed over half of her own life in the remarkable circle of love known to be Eve Endert.
Kris Young, Jesse Young and Tyler Young were so fortunate to be so beloved by Eve. Between the three grandsons there are four great-grandchildren: Al and Sofie belong to Kris and Diane; Jasmine belongs to Jess and Peggy; and Madeline belongs to Tyler and Michelle.
Eve moved here in 1962. According to her wishes, there will be no services planned; however, she frequently stated how grateful she was to this wonderful community for being her family too. Life among the people of Del Norte was her celebration.
