Eve Robin Moore went home to be with the Lord on April 27, 2014, surrounded by her loving family. She was born May 12, 1956, in Englewood Calif., on Mother’s Day. Raised and schooled in Crescent City, one of her greatest pleasures was washing the windows at Battery Point Lighthouse. She married Larrie Moore on June 6, 1974. During their 40-year marriage they raised three children in Fort Worth, Texas, before relocating back to Crescent City. While in Crescent City, she managed a series of apartment complexes. Her kind, loving and gentle spirit was a magnet to many of the tenants’ children, who called her “grandma.” Her favorite days of the week were church on Sunday and “sister-hood” on Wednesday afternoon.
Her father, James Alfred Bridgman, preceded her in death. She is survived by her husband, Larrie Moore, and children Paul, Christina, David and grandchildren Michael, Cheyenne, Holiday, John and her mother Carmen Hollinsead. Her siblings include Deborah and Carl Scott, Leah and Douglas Owens and brother Tim Hollinsead.
Eve’s one request would be that you honor each other, love each other and forgive one another. The family will be holding a private service in her honor.
