Corky spent most of his life in the Crescent City and Klamath areas.
After his service in the United States Marines, he returned home to work as a Union worker pile driving, then went on to work in masonry and had always been an avid fisherman with a love for the river and the commercial fishing season, where he taught many young tribal members the ways of the Klamath River and how to carry on the Yurok Tribal traditions that he lived.
Friday, Nov. 22, 2013, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., there will be a viewing at Wier’s Mortuary followed by a wake at his home in Klamath.
