He met his wife Stacey in 2005 and they were married in 2007. They had two sons. Over the years Jaime worked at Crescent Nursing and Rehabilitation, Safeway and Good Samaritan in Brookings.
Jaime was a loving father; his two sons were the joy of his life. Jaime was a good friend and always had that contagious smile that could light up a room. He was active and involved in his sons’ schools and sports. He would make the time to participate in their activities.
Jaime had a passion for cooking; he was a chef at mostly all family functions and always had a joke to tell. We will miss his outgoing personality and that unconditional love for his family and culture. He loved his Chalino Sanchez Corridos and his Old School and Oldies; he always had the music going.
He leaves to cherish his sweet memories two sons: Victor Manuel Torres and Benjamin Alexander Torres; his wife Stacey Torres; his parents, Consolacion and Cecilia Torres of Smith River; one sister, Noemi Torres of Sacramento, Calif.; two brothers, Filemon Torres of Tacoma, Wash., and David and wife Laura Torres of Nampa, Idaho; and a host of nephews, nieces, cousins, aunts, uncles and numerous friends.
