James Larry Bingham

James Larry Bingham passed away on January 13, 2010, at St. Joseph Hospital in Eureka. James was born on October 30, 1952, in Franklin, N.C., and moved with his family to Crescent City in 1965. He loved camping, fishing on the Smith River, hunting and spending time with his family. He was a very strong willed and outspoken person. James was also well loved and will be dearly missed.

James is survived by his parents, Wayne and Rosie Bingham; daughters, Stacy Schnacker and Angela Eatmon, all of Crescent City; grandchildren, Jessee, Timothy, Rebecca, Dustin, Taran and Loran; great granddaughter, Kyree; sister, Jillda Sturdevant of Crescent City; brothers, John Bingham of Fernly, Nev., and Jarette Bingham of Lakeview, Ore.; numerous other family members and friends.

James was preceded in death by his son, James Dewitt Bingham, in 1973.

There will be a Celebration of Life on Saturday, January 23, at 1 p.m. at 675 Butte Street in Crescent City for those who wish to attend.

Arrangements are under the direction of Wier’s Mortuary Chapel of Crescent City.
