Obituary: Jason Lynn Roberts (Oct. 7, 1981 – June 1, 2013)

Jason Lynn Roberts was born in Upland, Calif., on Oct. 7, 1981. He went to be with the Lord on June 1, 2013. Jason (known as “Navajo” to friends and “Circuit City” to his Army buddies) was in the Army and has done a tour in Afghanistan, after which he worked for the Department of Corrections for six years. He was a proud member of the department’s Honor Guard.

Jason was the go-to computer guy. He was very knowledgeable and could fix any problem that you had. He will be deeply missed by family and many friends.

Jason is survived by his wife, Christina; his two sons, Jayden (age four) and Logan (age three); his parents, Jeff and Christina; his sister Dejah and grandmother Charlotte.

Memorial services will be held on Saturday, June 8, at 1 p.m. at the Church of the Nazarene, 1600 Chetco Avenue, Brookings, Ore.

The family asks that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to the family to help aid in raising Jason’s two boys. Account is listed as: Jason Roberts Donation, Account #324038, C/O Rogue Federal Credit Union, 729 Checto Avenue, Brookings, OR  97415.
