He had a career as an auto mechanic, refrigeration contractor, HVAC technician and a hotelier. He was a member of Local Union 250 for over 35 years for refrigeration, air conditioning and pipe fitting. He was a sought after handyman that could fix anything and build anything.
He was a world traveler who visited several dozen countries, including the majority of the United States and Canada.
He also was an Elk for more than 20 years.
He was a loving father and grandfather who lived life on his own terms. He is survived by his son, Joe C. Dionne; his daughter, Terii A. Dionne and two grandsons: Christopher Dionne and Sean Hawkes.
He passed peacefully on the Feb. 27, 2014, surrounded by family.
