Obituary: Josephine “Lucille” Lee (Dec. 3, 1915 – Dec. 30, 2012)

Josephine “Lucille” Lee passed away Sunday, Dec. 30, 2012, at the age of 97 at home in Crescent City, surrounded by loved ones after a brief illness.

Lucille was one of eight children born to parents George and Rosa Belle Rose on Dec. 3, 1915, in Judson, N.M.

Lucille lived in Lompoc, Calif., starting in the early 1960s, then moved to Crescent City to live closer to family in 2009.

Lucille was predeceased by her loving husband James Lee and son Daulton Ray Abernathy. Lucille had three sons, Ray, Bruce and Dick Abernathy. She also had 13 grandchildren, 34 great-grandchildren and 33 great-great-grandchildren. Memorial Services are pending.
