Obituary: Kathy Morris

Kathy Morris passed away on Tuesday, April 21 at the age of 64.  She is survived by brothers, Dave, Bob, Jim, and twin brother John; as well as her aunt, Kathleen Mansfield; uncle, Bob Morris; and numerous cousins, nieces, and nephews. Kathy is also warmly remembered by the many foster children she took into her home and helped raise during her lifetime.

Kathy majored in math at Cal Poly, and is still remembered for her Girl Scout leadership in the Pasadena area, which included participation in a National Roundup at Button Bay, Vermont.

She has been a member of St. Paul’s Episcopal Church since 1991 and is remembered by her church family for her steadfast service and generosity of heart even as she struggled with a debilitating disease through the last years of her life.

There will be a memorial service for Kathy at St. Paul’s Episcopal Church, 220 E. Macken Ave,, Crescent City on Saturday, May 2, at 10 a.m. to honor Kathy’s life.  Please join us.
