Obituary: Michael John Dankulich (Sept. 7, 1930-Dec. 18, 2009) |
Michael John Dankulich, 79, of Klamath, died of heart failure at a local hospital on the morning of Friday, December 18, 2009. At his request, no services are scheduled.
He was born September 7, 1930, in Pittston, Pennsylvania, to George and Mary (Stasko) Dankulich. In 1947 he joined the U.S. Air Force and retired 25 years, 7 months, and 25 days later as a Tech Sergeant E-6. In 1958 he married Norma Mary Puzz in Gold Beach, Ore. He has lived in Klamath since he retired from the Air Force in 1973. He was raised in the Catholic Church and was a lifetime member of the TREA (The Retired Enlisted Association.) He is survived by his daughter, Tanya Sangrey of Klamath; his sisters, Ann Dankulich of Honolulu, Marguerite Dankulich of Endicott, N.Y., Veronica Warneke of Secaucus, N.J.; his brother, Charles Coolidge of Houston; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his wife, Norma.
