She was born in Crescent City to William and Janice Wyatt and grew up in Gasquet.
Nancy was preceded in death by her late husband Stanley D. Rupert, who also was formerly of Crescent City.
Together they raised their family of three children in Weed. Nancy is survived by Matthew Rupert of Eugene, Ore.; Janice Klier of Nice, Calif.; and Micheal Rupert of Lincoln, Calif.; plus seven grandchildren: Morgan and Dakota Rupert, Paris and Portia Klier and Peyton, Joseph and Lucas Rupert. Nancy is also survived by her two sisters, Sandy Kenedy of Sarasota, Fla., and Carol Pelletier of Crescent City, and two brothers, Steven Wyatt of Trinity Center, Calif., and James Wyatt-Renea of Hoquiam, Wash., plus numerous nieces and nephews.
She loved the outdoors, the sound of rain pouring on the roof and stormy winter weather. She was an avid fisherwoman, and her favorite fishing spots were Lake Shastina and Gumboot Lake in Siskiyou County.
We will surely miss this fun-funny girl! So outgoing, kind, warmhearted and, oh, so giving.
I love you and miss you so, my precious Nancy Girl.
A memorial service will be held Sept. 6 at 1 p.m. in “ The Sons of Italy Hall,” 155 Clay St., in Weed with a potluck following.
