Obituary: Robert Wayne Phillips (June 26, 1961 – Dec. 24, 2011)

Robert Wayne Phillips, 50 years old of Marysville, Calif., passed away on Dec. 24, 2011.

He died from a massive stroke.

He was born in Roseville, Calif., on June 26, 1961. Robert graduated from Sunset High School in Crescent City, where he received his diploma. He never married, but instead supported his mother after the loss of his father Claude Phillips, Sr. in 1984.

Robert or Bobby known to all was survived by his mother, Mary Phillips; older brother, Claude Phillips Jr. (Sonny), and his wife, Mina; sister, Lorena Worthy and her husband, Rick; two nieces, Tammy Rudd and her husband Joe Rudd; and Anne Gray and her husband, Travis McRander; and a nephew, Buddy Phillips and his wife, Sarah. Robert also had eight great nieces and nephews Cheyenne Worthy, Katie Rudd, Brock Worthy, Brooklynn Gray, Blaine Gray, Breyden Gray, Gillyan Rudd and Natalia Phillips, who all adored their great uncle.

No services will be held. His ashes will be scattered in Alaska at a later date. Bobby was a donor and wished to help others even after his untimely death.
