William Williamson, 70, of Crescent City, died Dec. 14, 2012, at Asante Rogue Regional Medical Center in Medford, Ore.

 Hicks Linda Conley Hicks was the daughter of Theodore James Conley and Ruth Kent Conley of Newark, Ohio. After graduation from high school, she trained in cosmetology and court stenography; later she earned a degree from the College of Redwoods. In 1958 she married Roger Daily and they moved to Southern California. In 1962 they had a son, David Roger Daily. That marriage ended in divorce. Linda pursued careers as a hair stylist and court stenographer. She married Leslie Hicks in 1976 and they moved to Crescent City; they owned and operated the Bayside Marina. In 1984 she was blessed with the birth of her grandson Ryan Penna-Daily. Linda and Les retired to Las Cruces, N.M., in 2002, where she enjoyed jogging, hiking, and skiing.
She was preceded in death by her husband, grandson, and sister Barbara Starr.
In addition to her devoted son David of Crescent City, Linda is mourned by her sisters, Sheila Tompos and husband William, Carol Evans and husband Timothy; nephews Stephen Tompos and wife Lori, Shannon Starr, Trevor Starr and friend Isis Kress, Justin Starr and wife Jennifer; grand nieces Laurel, Stephenie and Lily Ann Tompos.
Linda is to be cremated and her ashes buried with her grandson at the Crescent City Veterans Cemetery.

Jerry L. Reha passed away November 19, 2012, in his home in Selma, Ore., surrounded by his family. He was born February 1, 1955, to Frank Sr. and Hope (Ives) Reha in Crescent City, and graduated from Del Norte High School.
Jerry worked in the woods for most of his life as a faller and a wildlands firefighter. He was recently employed with Marty’s Tree Service.
Jerry loved his home in Selma and the beautiful Illinois Valley. He enjoyed time with his daughters, family gatherings, his gardens, riding his motorcycle and playing music with friends. He played guitar and was especially gifted at woodworking, including restoring antiques and creating beautiful antique replicas. Throughout his life, he always had a dog by his side and had a great deal of compassion for animals.
Jerry is survived by his daughters, Chelsea Reha of Ashland, Ore.; Molly Pearcey and grandson, Gavin Cochrane of Crescent City; mother, Hope Reha of Jacksonville, Ore.; brothers, Frank Reha, Jr. (Sally Smart) of Crescent City and Chris (Kelly) Reha and nieces, Sydney and Alexis Reha of Jacksonville, Ore.; and nephew, Mitchell Reha of Portland, Ore.
He was preceded in death by his father, Frank Reha, Sr.
Jerry will be greatly missed. He brought humor, music and kindness to all of those around him.
Family and friends will gather for a celebration of life in the near future.

 Davis Linnie Leon Davis
July 13, 1965 – Dec. 5, 2012
Linnie Leon Davis passed away at the age of 47 years old on Dec. 5, 2012. He was born July 13, 1965, in Longview, Wash.
He is survived by his mom, Ethel Stewart, and father, Gary Davis; his two daughters, Katie Davis and Marianne Eniem, along with three grandchildren: David, Jada and Joshua, as well as two brothers, Gary and Philip Davis and sister, Jurene Stone.
Linnie loved to walk on the beach and go fishing. He also loved to draw. Linnie also enjoyed singing very much, especially to his girls. Linnie was a very good father and is loved very much and will be missed greatly.

 Alexander Gloria Jean Alexander passed away on Friday, November 23, 2012, in Bellingham, Wash. She was 69, born May 8, 1943 in Monterey, Calif., to Morris “Dynamite” and Frances (Kagle) Ricks. Jean lived in Crescent City for 36 years after moving from Salinas, Calif. She moved to Lynden, Wash., in 2008, and was a member of North County Christ the King Church. She previously worked at Sutter Coast Hospital (known previously as Seaside Hospital) as a Pharmacy Technician, a job she loved. Her husband, Doyle N. Alexander, and her parents preceded her in death.

A memorial service is planned in Brookings, his former town of residence. A full obituary will be published at that time.

• Richard A. Wright, 73, of Spokane, Wash., died Oct. 18, 2012, in Spokane. He was born Sept 21, 1939, in Kingman, Ariz., and formerly resided in Del Norte County for more than 25 years.
A commercial fisherman, he was buried at sea, but a memorial service will be held in Crescent City next summer.

Juanita died peacefully at the home of her sister, Beverly, in Roseburg, Ore., surrounded by loving family. A private family graveside service was held Saturday, Nov. 3, 2012, at 10 a.m. Juanita was interred in the Crescent City Veteran’s Cemetery, with her beloved husband, Corky. Funeral arrangements were handled by Chapel of the Roses, Roseburg, Ore., and Wier’s Mortuary Chapel, Crescent City. She was preceded in death by her husband, Cornelius (Corky), and her son, Richard Moore (Butch). Preceding her in death also were her brother, Donald Spinney, and sisters Dorothy Harrison and Helen Galvin, all of Oregon.
Juanita is survived by her sisters June Lynch and Beverly Vogel, of Oregon. Surviving also are Dianna Snider of Montana, Kenneth (Skip) Daigan of Arizona, Anita Williams of Missouri, Laura Ferguson of Nevada and Michael Daigan of Oregon. Grandchildren include Donald Moore of Oregon, Venus Dimon, Rita Duncan and Lila Horner, all of Crescent City. There are numerous other grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nephews, nieces, great-nephews and great-nieces.
