This Friday starting at 4 p.m. and running to 7 p.m., at least nine Crescent City merchants will open their doors to feature local artists and their works.
Join your friends for an enjoyable evening strolling the streets, visiting participating businesses, listening to a little music and sampling refreshments.
This is will be the seventh in a series of Crescent City Art Walks combining businesses and artists in showcasing their works and products to the community during an evening of fun and friends.
Friday’s event is sponsored by the participating businesses, Redwoods Park Association and the First Friday Foundation.
You can see it all, stained glass, pottery, life-size wooden horses,
Native American jewelry and basketry, paintings, photography, fabric art
and much more. Stop by these the following locations, pick up a map and
enjoy the evening:
Crescent Harbor Gallery; Vita Cucina; Wright’s Custom Framing;
Johnston’s Gift, Garden & Home; The Gallery of Arts and Culture;
Made by US-Arts 101; Wendy’s Hair Salon; Abienna Plaza (in the hallway
of the building that houses Six Degrees of Celebration and Chere’s
Boutique); and Evermore Jewelry & Art Gallery.
At Abienna Plaza, recycled art made by students at the Little School
of the Redwoods will be on display, including a dragon for Chinese New
Year and a 3-D alphabet display. Students and parents will there.
