I would like to give special thanks to the guys from the Jordan Recovery House who stepped up and gave their time and energy volunteering to clean up the Peterson Park Community Garden. It was so overgrown and had wind damage from the last storm we had. They mowed and hauled off garbage and other junk. It was an awesome job they did!
They gave three days of their time to make it look nice and words can’t describe how much they are appreciated.
A special thanks to Tony and his crew for the exceptional job done.
Also thank you, Stewart Nichols and Don Baker from CAN, who are in charge of the community garden.
Part of the garden is used for growing fresh vegetables for the Harrington House battered women’s shelter.
