Among Friday night’s Art Walk highlights was Noni Gunarsa, now of Santa Cruz, performing at the Gallery of Arts & Culture. As a child, Gunarsa was the inspiration for children’s book “Tari, Little Dancer of Bali.”

Gunarsa, “Tari” illustrator Garetta Lamore of Crescent City, middle, and the book’s author, Pamela Noensie of Sausalito, were all on hand for a book signing that brought in more than 150 people, Lamore said.
