Birth: Valeska Lillyanna McCovey

Valeska Lillyanna McCovey was born Sept. 25, 2011, at Sutter Coast Hospital. She weighed 7 pounds, 12 ounces and measured 203⁄4 inches. She joins siblings Aldaron “Bubby” and Willow Butterfly. Her parents are Carrie Borges and Aldaron McCovey of Crescent City. Her grandparents are Tim and Mercedes Borges of Atascadero, George Bigovich of Crescent City, and the late Vlayn McCovey, formerly of Crescent City. Her great-grandparents are Betty Borges of Los Osos, and Eduardo Rodriguez Sr. of Umingan in Pangasinan Province, Philippines.
