Her great-grandparents are Maria Concepcion Gonzalez Guiterrez and the late Jose Guadalupe Gonzalez Rodriguez of San Francisco de Asis de los Altos, Jalisco, Mexico; the late Jose de Jesus Ocegueda Bravo and the late Maria Guadalupe Lopez Valley, both formerly of La Ribera de Guadalupe, Jalisco, Mexico; the late Marilyn Young formerly of Crescent City; and Judith and the late Bruce Trask of Crescent City.
