Customers give food, get coffee

On Valentine’s Day, the Brookings and Crescent City communities banded together to raise 1,273 pounds of non-perishable food for local food banks.

“It’s amazing when people get together in a concentrated effort,” said Dutch Bros. Coffee co-founder Travis Boersma. “The impact that we can have in raising over 233,000 pounds of food is extraordinary.”

To raise food, Dutch Bros. offered customers a free drink in exchange for a contribution of three non-perishable food items.

Dutch Bros. Brookings donated to Brookings Harbor Community Helpers.

Dutch Bros. Crescent City donated to Our Daily Bread Ministries.

Dutch Bros. would like to thank all of the generous people who came out to feed hungry friends and neighbors in their community. Customers are an integral part of achieving Dutch Bros.’ mission of “making a difference, one cup at a time.”

Company-wide, customers helped gather 233,401 pounds of food for local food banks.
