Dr. Seuss Day

The Cat in the Hat dropped in at Joe Hamilton School on March 1 for Dr. Seuss Day. The day was devoted to activities that included the upper grades reading to the lower grades, and high school students reading to upper grades. The teachers prepared Dr. Seuss' favorite dish by actually making green eggs and ham. Also, green "oobleck" was made and played with by the students. The staff joined in the fun by dressing up in their finest Dr. Seuss attire, topped off by his famous multi-colored stovepipe hats and wispy tails.
