Fundraiser set for weekend

A garage sale to raise funds for a local man with cancer will be from Friday through Sunday, 9 a.m.-3 p.m. at 252 Maiden Lane, off Elk Valley Road.

Brian Miller will soon undergo his second stem cell transplant to battle stage-three Hodgkin’s lymphoma.

“Battling 4 Brian” bracelets will be available for a donation of $5. An account has also been set up in Brian’s name at Chetco Federal Credit Union.
