Health Fair is coming up in Smith River on Oct. 29
Local residents will be able to learn about natural remedies and cutting-edge technology to improve people’s health at an upcoming health fair. The Harvest Health Fair will be held Saturday, Oct. 29, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. at Lucky 7 Casino’s Tolowa Event Center. Admission is $5 per person at the door. The fair offers a full day of health-centered activities. There will be more than 25 vendors, free consultations, health demonstrations, free samples, raffles, and live music. “We hope people will come and see something new that improves their mind, body, and spirit,” said event organizer Michael Penney in a press release. Penney will be speaking about Stress Reduction and Pain Management at the event. Other featured speakers include Emma Robinson, Tina Jones, and Rama Malone who will speak on a variety of health and wellness topics. “This event is an opportunity for people to experience cutting-edge technologies and time-honored traditions in the area of healthy living,” Penney said. — Del Norte Triplicate |
