Rotaract held an ice cream social at CC’s Diner last Friday to bring new members into the group.
Rotaract is a service organization for adults 18 years old into their 30s that is connected to Rotary International.
The club is planning to clean up the trash and graffiti in Brother Jonathan Park off 9th Street on May 13 at 1 p.m.
Rotaract puts on several annual events, such as the Bowl-athon and
AIDS Walk. Members would like to do more events, such as a Halloween
dance for teens, family movies in the park, a bike-to-work day,
paint-the-town day and getting locals to register to vote for upcoming
elections.
Rotaract meets every first and third Wednesday of the month at 5:30
