Marj Niebauer recently retired from the Crescent City/Del Norte Chamber of Commerce Visitors Information Center. She had helped and made many friends at Social Services, then started volunteering at the Visitors’ Center 17 years ago. Because of her kind and caring personality, she later became a loyal and valuable employee. Over the years, thousands of visitors to our wonderful county and the beautiful redwoods were given just the right information to enjoy it all. She also trained many volunteers that have greeted and assisted visitors. Marj was such a strong and supportive part of the Crescent City/Del Norte Chamber of Commerce, and most of all, the Visitors Center. Her knowledge, kindness, charming personality and love of and dedication to her job in this community will be missed by many here and afar. Thank you, Marj, for it all.
