PBS show characters coming

KEET-TV is bringing “SUPER WHY!” characters Whyatt and Woofster to Crescent City.

KEET-TV’s Ready To Learn program is bringing the costumed characters from the PBS Kids program “SUPER WHY!” to Crescent City.

Whyatt, also known as Super Why, a preschool superhero gifted with the “power to read” and accompanied by his sidekick, Woofster, a puppy with “dictionary power,” will be here April 27.

The “SUPER WHY!” characters will visit Del Norte First 5 Playgroups from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m., as well as a Family Fun Night at the First 5 Family Resource Center in Crescent City from 6 to 7:30 p.m.

Both events are free and open to the public.
