Photographers gain exposure

The results are in for the Crescent Harbor Gallery Annual Juried Photo Show, but you have the rest of the month to check them out.

This year’s show, comprising 101 photographs, was chosen from over 130 entries from a region extending from Florence, Ore., to Morrow Bay, Calif., and as far east as Mt. Shasta.

The entries included black and white, color, film, digital, and a wide variety of subject matter.

A total of $1,400 in awards were given. The winners are:

• First place ($800), “War Games,” Laura Zugzda

• Second Place ($250), “Any Storm in a Port,” Don Munson

• Third Place, $150, “Bodie Barn Find,” Matt Niesen

• Redwood Award ($200), “Redwood Trail,” Betty Fowler

• Honorable mention, “Swindler,” Monica Carrasco; “Dancing on the Wind,” Betty Depee; “Key,” Dutch Dremann; “I Fix My Eye,” Laura Zugzda

The gallery is open from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. every day at 140 Marine Way. For more information, call 707-464-9133.
