Six Rivers Park seeks public feedback

Six Rivers National Park Forest Supervisor Tyrone Kelley plans a collaborative effort to deal with fuel reduction and forest health in his area. The reason, Kelley said, is "public feedback." "I have asked the Orleans/Somes Far Fire Safe Council in Orleans to help develop a modified proposal ... working with the Karuk Tribe, residents of Orleans and other interested parties," he said. A meeting is planned 6-8 p.m. Thursday at Orleans Ranger Station.
