Letters: Compromise for Sea Cruise benefits car show and park |
I compliment the city planner, the City Council and the Planning Commission for working out a thoughtful and reasonable compromised solution for both the benefit of the Sea Cruise Car Show and one that also is caring of our city park's resources. The health and beauty of the park is important to most of us, and parking multitudes of cars in wet weather conditions is damaging to the vegetation and the trees. I enjoy seeing the colorful antique cars, but would enjoy the festival even more if the cars were parked along Front Street. In my opinion, the recent letters have been harsh, unfair and uncompromising. Eileen Cooper Crescent City |
