Letters: Don't let loud voices ofgodless minority take over

I think the cynical tone of the letter writer of Aug. 7 ("America's economy has become like a ‘hollow shell,'") does a great disservice to the people of this nation who know that America is great. We can take back our nation if moral people will assert their power and be heard over the vocal minority of the amoral/immoral and the godless.

I have faith that those who truly love this country will realize how late in the game it is and push aside the far-left liberals, the secularists (godless), those who would gain office only to advance their personal wealth and power, and those who would relinquish our sovereignty to "One Worlders" (globalists).

First, at this time we still have the power of the vote to take back our government. Terms in office must be shortened so that corruption is less easy, and we must stand up for those who would expose corruption.

Most importantly, we must take back our public schools from the far-left element (NARAL, ACLU, Planned Parenthood, etc), clean up the faculties, so that our children and young adults can learn the true history of this great nation and those heroes who have led us to greatness. We have to throw out the social engineers who we have allowed to take control of the public school system. The disastrous results of their pornographic sex education can be seen in every facet of life — the rise in babies having babies, fatherless children, unwanted children, sexually transmitted diseases, sexual perversion, pornography, lack of respect for themselves and for authority, and the murder of the unborn by abortion in numbers equaling any Holocaust.

Why would the California Teachers Association pledge $25,000 to activists who plan to raise $30 million to defeat the Marriage Amendment (Prop. 8) in California? Who drives their agenda? How far will we let them go with our children? We must pass Proposition 8 so that we can begin to take back our country and protect our children. We must stand up for "One Nation Under God." No amoral/immoral society can survive. It may soon be too late. We cannot let the loud voices of a godless minority destroy this nation. The people still have the power! We can do it! The question is, will we? May God continue to bless America, the greatest nation on Earth!
