Letters: Fund for women at CR set up in Michelle Dickson's memory

Recently we experienced an unspeakable tragedy with the loss of our dear friend Michelle Dickson.

When she was manager of Latitudes Coffee House, Michelle welcomed many of you with her kind nature and perpetual smile. Watching her transform herself and bloom before us was a privilege and I know I speak for many when I say we will miss her terribly.

I refuse, however, to remember her only in death. It is in this light that I join with Michelle's family and many others in the creation of an endowment that will help fund the education of similar young women at the College of the Redwoods. Please join in this effort by giving generously now and in the future, and in so doing we will build a new legacy associated with the name and associate it with that fund that helps needy students.
