It would be smart if our government would pay our national debt off by drilling for oil with government-owned and operated oil wells on government-owned land, oceans and shores. Just think of all the money and lives that are going to other countries that could be saved in the name of smart government. Just think: Feed our people, medical benefits for our people, cheap gas for our people, cheap food for our people, rebuilding America, keeping our jobs, etc. And no depreciation. John F.
