Letters: Marijuana possessionincident didn't justify article

What a waste of a corner page (June 18) to announce the detention of Bill Stamps Jr. at our airport for possession of pot.

And, while our district attorney is properly treating this as "any other individual" for possession on less than 1 ounce, how do you at The Daily Triplicate justify your thematic article regarding a rather humiliating situation for a decent and community-oriented man?

If this was not Mr. Stamps, who cares?
