The Red Cross would like people to become active in their programs. My family and I would like to become CERT trained. I have dropped by the office many times during business hours. No one was there. I have left telephone messages. No return phone calls. I have even e-mailed. Still no response. Yet they want the community to become involved. How does one become involved when they won't even return your calls? E-mail, or be open during their posted office hours. Hey, Red Cross, are you out there? It's a mystery to me. Maybe they don't need us after all. I know I sure would like to be involved. And prepared.
