Letters: Successful businessman makes successful supervisor |
I first met Charles Slert when he gave a short presentation at a luncheon meeting. I was impressed when he compared how an architect would relate as a supervisor. An architect has to listen to what people want, relay those thoughts to a solid idea and translate these ideas into a workable project. These are good traits to have as a supervisor. Patricia Slert, his wife, grew up in Ferndale. Her father was a logger. Mr. Slert knows what the loss of timber revenue can do to a small community. A vote for a successful businessman is a vote for a successful supervisor. Vote for Charles Slert, District 2 candidate for Del Norte County supervisor. Eileen Mitchell Crescent City |
