Letters: Thanks to Hendrick, Waste Mgmt. for taking cleanup trash

I would like to thank Kevin Hendrick, director of the Del Norte Solid Waste Management Authority, and his staff for accepting not only 600 pounds of trash last weekend, but accepting more than 8,000 pounds over the past few years after Elk Creek cleanups.

He has never said "no," even though we've had some shady dumps, and has taken everything we've thrown at him, from 17 shopping carts to the kitchen sink. If you would like to clean up a property next to your home or business, contact Kevin Hendrick for large items.
