Gasquet residents are entering and exiting Highway 199 in a much safer fashion thanks to a community effort that began in 2005 and ended last week with the addition of a middle turn lane through Gasquet. Thank you Mike Thompson, Tamara Buchanan, Mike Sullivan, Chuck Blackburn, Cal Trans and all who signed the petition in 2005 requesting the Highway 199 restriping. Harry Wetherell Gasquet |
