Gopher Gulch: Uncreative accounting needed in our government

Like nearly everyone else, I’ve got politics on my mind these days. I try not to think about it more than necessary, but there’s an election bearing down on us like bulls in the streets of Pamplona and if we don’t move fast we’re gonna get gored.

Not running isn’t an option, so the big question is which way to run. I’m certainly not going to suggest how anyone else should vote on any issue. I’ve got trouble enough figuring out my own choices. It would be so simple if we could count on all politicians to be both honorable and competent, but that’s as likely as those big black bulls stopping to smell the flowers.
