Letters: Slow down and be cautious when driving in a school zone

I am a crossing guard at Pine Grove School.

I would like to remind drivers that school is in session. There are many drivers not slowing down through the school zone. I have even had drivers not stop when I have my stop sign up and getting ready to cross students in the crosswalk. The crosswalk has the flashing lights to show drivers there is someone in the crosswalk.

I would like to thank the drivers that are slowing down and being cautious when they are in the school zone. I really appreciate it. It makes my job easier.
